The Town of Appomattox has agreed to enter into a contract with an investment partnership that will allow them to receive a lump sum of money to help with capital improvement projects and economic development. The Times Virginian reports, Town Council agreed last week to allow California-based AP Wireless Infrastructure Partners to buy future cell phone tower site rents for $1 million. According to the article, current leases do not allow for the adjustment of rental rates.
