The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office is continuing it’s investigation into the robbery of the Madison Heights CVS store. According to a press release, 6;45 pm, Wednesday evening, a male wearing a mask and hoodie walked up to the pharmacy drive through, forced the window open, and threatened the staff with a handgun before taking medication and running off. The male suspect was captured on surveillance video is described as white, in his mid thirties, and wearing all black clothing and a gray or green hoodie. He was last seen running toward Seminole Drive.
