A pair of group homes are now complete and ready for eight residents to move out of the Central Virginia Training Center. The two new four-bedroom homes are a joint project between Horizon Behavioral Health and CVTC. The homes were built to meet the specific needs of the residents; and will provide intermediate care for developmental disabled people who are prepared to transition away from the training center facility under an agreement between Virginia and the U.S. Department of Justice. A ribbon cutting is planned for Thursday. For more about housing and residential services, visit: www.horizonbh.org
