In the wake of an announcement that farming in the Old Dominion is on decline–comes good news for area farmers and residents that buy locally grown. An organic grocery has announced it is coming to Lynchburg. The market will carry groceries that come from local farms, primarily in Campbell and Bedford Counties. Slated to open in November, the organic market will be located at the Cornerstone development. In February, the Department of Agriculture reported Virginia lost farms from 2007 to 2012.
