Centra Health has taken ownership a of Lynchburg company that creates customized wellness programs for companies. Media outlets report, Panoramic Wellness will be treated as a separate company within Centra; but the staff of four will now be employed by Centra. National statistics show that well-developed wellness service programs can have a significant return on investment for employers. Currently Panoramic has about 30 clients; and will continue to serve those clients and take on new ones under the name Centra Panoramic Wellness. The program will coordinate occupational medicine, employee clinics, health risk management and wellness programs.
