The Tinbridge Hill neighborhood plan is getting closer to meeting its goals. Projects in the plan include expanding use of the neighborhood’s community garden, installing gateway signs at neighborhood entry points, and developing a trailhead that connects to the city’s Blackwater Creek Trail system. According to the News & Advance, The Parks & Rec. Dept. has already started designing the trailhead, and negotiations with the railroad to get the extra property needed. Once that agreement is in place, construction can begin, subject to weather restrictions. The planning commission unanimously endorsed the plan last month. The plan now awaits final adoption by City Council. That vote is set for March 11.
