EDA Members Toured Airport

To make better use of the resources available at the Lynchburg Regional Airport, the Economic Development Authority is working on bringing a commercial hangar for aircraft maintenance to the site. EDA members spent Monday afternoon touring potential sites, discussing future plans and considering the current layout to attract an aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company. The group reviewed the airport’s 20-year master plan that offered ways to make better use of the resources available and viewed two potential sites for a potential airport commerce park and for a hanger.
