Update: On 05/19/2016 at approximately 1406, Trevor James McIntosh was taken into custody without incident and served with his outstanding warrants for breaking and entering and grand larceny. McIntosh is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
From Lynchburg Police: On May 17th, 2016 through teamwork and intelligence-led policing, members of the Lynchburg Police Department in partnership with the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office executed three search warrants in relation to a recent burglary in Amherst County in which multiple firearms and ammunition was stolen. The search warrants were served at the following locations in the City of Lynchburg:
4644 Fairmont Avenue
4656 Fairmont Avenue
3015 Forest Hills Circle Apartment H
As a result of these search warrants the following items were recovered along with several other contraband items unrelated to the Amherst burglary:
1 Assault Rifle
Multiple boxes and rounds of ammunition
Approximately 500 Xanax pills
$10, 213 and several other items

As a result of this investigation the following people were arrested and charged:
Jermaine Antonio Sales, 20 year old male of Lynchburg. Sales was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of firearm while in possession of schedule II controlled substance, concealed weapon, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a stolen firearm, grand larceny, and breaking and entering.
Jorge Alberto Ochoa, 18 year old male of Lynchburg. Ochoa was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
Austin Bryant Fitzgerald, 20 year old male of Lynchburg. Fitzgerald was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and possession of stolen property.
Jeremy Oneal Williams, 20 year old male of Lynchburg. Williams was charged with grand larceny and breaking and entering.
We still have outstanding warrants on file for Trevor James McIntosh, a 20 year old male of Lynchburg for grand larceny and breaking and entering.
