There has been no word on the condition of a teenager hit by a vehicle on Route 460 in the Thaxton area of Bedford County last night. State police say the 16-year-old male was riding a foot-propelled scooter, when he drifted into the road and a westbound Ford Mustang hit him. The News and Advance reports that it happened around 9 p.m. about a tenth of a mile east of Johnson School Road. The boy was airlifted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
