The Appomattox County Electoral Board is requesting to relocate various precincts in the county. The Chap, Courthouse, and Absentee Ballot precincts are among the facilities that the board would like to change. According to the Times Virginian, the matter is set to be on the Board of Supervisor’s agenda for next month’s meeting. The board is hoping to have the precincts relocated in time for the next scheduled election, which is set to take place May 2014 for the Appomattox Town Council election.
