Liberty University’s largest graduating class – almost 18-thousand students – will be honored at its commencement ceremony tomorrow.  More than 85 percent of those graduates took at least some courses on-line. Liberty terms it “Multiple Delivery Formats,” … a blend of residential and on-line education that meets each student’s style and time management needs. Steve Peterson is executive director of admissions for on-line classes… he says today’s students want more choices. Liberty calls itself a pioneer in accredited on-line education and started offering it as an alternative three decades ago…also claiming it helps keep tuition rates down.  Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is the keynote speaker tomorrow morning at Lane Stadium … about a third of the school’s graduating students will attend.
