university of vaThe attorney for one of the teens accused in a drive by shooting that left one man dead has filed a motion requesting his client undergo a competency and sanity evaluation. During a hearing on Monday, defense argued that the 16 year old has received five serious head injuries in the past ; and that his client has suffered from frontal lobe damage and required treatments at the University of Virginia Medical Center. The judge set a hearing for July 28 to discuss the results from the evaluation. Two other teens facing charges for gunning down 20-year-old Lawrence Giusto, on Shaffer Street back in June, will reappear in court Aug. 4.
