According to data released by the Virginia Department of Health this morning, there are 1,483 new cases of coronavirus statewide bringing the overall total to 37,727. State Health officials are also reporting 37 new coronavirus related deaths, bring total number of dead in the Commonwealth to 1,208. There is one new case in Amherst County bringing the overall total there to 26.
