bedford county schools logoDominion Virginia Power has announced that one of three trees on a Bedford County property won’t have to be cut down. WSET reports the company said the tree, which is about 200 years old, outside Dominion’s 125-foot right of way in Forest can be trimmed in a way that would minimize the chances of it falling toward the power line. According to the story, two other trees that are around the same age are inside the right of way. Dominion says it’s reviewing some alternatives to cutting down those trees, suggested by the property owner.
