An Investigation is ongoing into an officer-involved shooting in Bedford County. The incident began Tuesday night, when the suspect broke into a Moneta home James Cochran said the suspect dragged his wife Melissa, out of the shower by her hair into the front yard and demanded her car. The victim was home alone at the time, when the suspect entered the home through a basement door. The incident ended during the early morning hours Wednesday when a deputy shot the suspect, following a vehicle chase. Authorities have not released the name of the deputy involved or the suspect.
