Oven Was Cause Of Fire at Local Baking Company

Fire officials say the source of the Friday afternoon Fire at Flowers Baking company in Lynchburg, was an industrial oven. Sources say crews were able to put the blaze out fairly quickly at the Hollins Mill Road facility. Officials say one employee went to the hospital for smoke inhalation, but is expected to be okay. An investigation is ongoing into what caused the oven to catch fire.
