Pedestrian critically injured in hit-and-run

Lynchburg Police are investigating a hit and run that left a pedestrian critically injured. It happened Friday night at 6:30 in the area of Campbell Avenue and Florida Avenue.  Police say the vehicle was traveling north into the city when the pedestrian was struck.  The pedestrian is currently at the Lynchburg General Hospital and in critical condition.  Anyone with information or may have witnessed the crash is asked to call Lynchburg Police.
