02-12 Counterfeit suspectThe Lynchburg Police Department is investigating three cases involving the use of counterfeit U.S. $100 bills. The incidents occurred on February 12, 2016 at the Wards Road locations of Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Michael’s. Detectives are attempting to identify the suspect pictured below. He is described as a black male, between 5’7” and 6’2”, weighing 170-220lbs. The suspect was wearing a fluorescent yellow construction/transportation style safety vest or jacket, blue cargo pants, and black boots. He was possibly driving a maroon, 4-door car of unknown make, model, or license plate state. Anyone who can identify this subject is asked to contact Detective C. T.
