Lynchburg police are asking for help solving two night-time burglaries at Miles Market on Rivermont Avenue. The first took place on June 26th … the second on July 4th. Police say both times, the thieves used large rocks to break the front windows. They took a total of $400 cash and approximately 40 packs of Newport cigarettes. Anyone with information can contact Central Virginia Crime Stoppers or Lynchburg police.
