From Lynchburg City Police: On 09-23-2014 at approximately 0509 hrs, Officers with the Lynchburg Police Department responded to the 7-Eleven located at 2311 Bedford Avenue (in the City of Lynchburg) for an armed robbery. Upon their arrival they were advised by the clerk that an unknown black male entered the store and brandished, what appeared to be, a shotgun and demanded money. As the clerk opened the cash register the unknown black male grabbed the cash drawer and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The store’s surveillance footage showed another unknown male waiting in the parking lot near Bedford Avenue. Both suspects ran towards Magnolia Street. The unknown black male is described as: Approximately 6-02, thinner build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt turned inside out with what appeared to be ink spots or writing on it, and dark jeans.
