UPDATE: On Friday, February 19, 2016 at 7:12 p.m., Skylar Denise Lewis was taken into custody without incident in the midtown area of Lynchburg.
On February 1, 2015, Skylar Denise Lewis, a 26 year old female from Lynchburg, was indicted by the Lynchburg Circuit Court Grand Jury for the following Virginia criminal offenses:
Gang recruitment in a school zone (felony). Participation in a gang that includes a juvenile in a school zone (felony). Assault & battery by mob (misdemeanor).
These indictments are related to the arrests of Stephen Lamont Spinner, Eric Lamont Payne, and Christopher Michael Thomas for gang and/or firearms-related charges on August 18, 2015.
Lewis is currently wanted on the above charges and law enforcement authorities are attempting to locate her whereabouts.
