From Central Virginia Crime Stoppers: Sometime between the evening hours of December 23rd and the early morning hours of December 24th, unknown subject(s) broke into a residence in the 1500 Block of Avondale Drive, in the Town of Altavista, and stole numerous Christmas gifts. The items taken from the residence included various electronics, a scooter, and even a small child’s piggy bank. Entry was gained by breaking a window, opening the window locks, and climbing through the ground floor window.
