From Lynchburg Police: On August 11, 2014 Officers with the Lynchburg Police Department responded to 1211 Old Graves Mill Road (site of the new Lynchburg Humane Society) regarding property damage and vandalism, which occurred sometime during the weekend of August 9 – 11, 2014. Officers found broken windows, fire extinguishers that had been expelled and items thrown all over the building. At this time the cost of the damage is unknown.
