A waterline break in the Allied Arts Building brought the Fire Department to downtown Lynchburg Wednesday evening. Media outlets report, the Director of Property Services concerned about electrical issues called officials after finding four feet of water pooling in the basement. Fire crews cut power to the building and were able to stop the water from running. According to reports, aside from water damage, there is likely damage to some of the technical rooms. Work is being done to have power restored to the building this morning.
