Media outlets report, more than 1,700 Appalachian Power Customers in Bedford County and surrounding areas were without power Sunday evening after a rather large outage. Sources say it happened just after 10pm as a result of a fire at a substation. According to AEP’s website this morning…there are no other outages reported.
