Power was restored at Randolph College on Thursday after an outage led to a massive sleepover at the school Wednesday night. The News & Advance reports, the college has been experiencing varying levels of power outages since Monday, when a high-voltage fuse failed causing outages in many academic buildings and part of one residence hall. According to the article, the most widespread outage occurred Wednesday when, in the midst another fuse failed, causing outages that affected most of campus– about 100 of the 600 residential students spent the night in the student center. College officials say the repairs were completed and all power restore by Thursday evening.
