The Appomattox Lions Club will partner with the Appomattox Historical Society to host the first Pro-Am Golf Tournament in Appomattox in June. Thirty-six pros and more than a 100 golfers overall are expected to participate in the Pro-Am. Event organizers say participants will come primarily from Virginia and Maryland. The one day tournament will be held on June 5, 2014 at the Falling River Country Club.
