The recent merger of two commercial operators at the Lynchburg Regional Airport, has led city leaders to seek feedback from the public at a community forum next week. According to the News & Advance, City Council last month postponed a vote on reassigning Virginia Aviation’s lease with the airport as part of a stock purchase agreement. The majority of council wanted more time to review the matter. The city, airport and Freedom Aviation are partnering to host the meeting which will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at the city’s IT building.
