The bells are ringing…Proceeds from the Red Kettle Campaign support programs offered by The Salvation Army. The Lynchburg location on Park Avenue provides breakfast and dinner 365 days a year. According to the Altavista Journal, From Oct. 1 of last year through Sept. 30, of this year, 31,215 meals were served. The organization also provides family services. This year’s campaign in Central Virginia kicked off Nov. 15 and will run through Christmas Eve.
