The Campbell County Board of Supervisors has passed a resolution that supports implementing shared services between area libraries. On Tuesday supervisors expressed an interest to move towards a regional library system, implementing similar or shared systems and policies among the three systems, including using the same electronic cataloguing software. Bedford and Campbell counties have shared services since 2010. Bedford County and Lynchburg now must approve similar resolutions. According to the News & Advance, creating a regional system will likely take between 18 to 24 months.
