Officials say motorist should be aware of road projects could cause some delays across the city in the coming days. VDOT is working on pothole repairs and other maintenance work on Candlers Mountain Road near River Ridge Mall. Work on the bridge is scheduled today and tomorrow from nine until two. Then, beginning Monday expect nighttime lane closures on Lakeside Drive for milling and paving operations. Work at that location, according to the city, is expected to last a week.
