Rocky Mount Man Faces October Sentencing

A Rocky Mount man faces sentencing in October, after his convictions Tuesday for child abuse and endangerment. Police say Shaquille Hancock put his girlfriend’s two-year-old child in a bathtub of scalding water last March. The judge ruled that while there was negligence, there was no evidence of intent to harm.
