Due to pending inclement weather, Rustburg Parade organizers, in collaboration with local safety officials, have rescheduled the Rustburg Christmas Parade. Forecasters say colder air begins to move into the area tonight and will last through the weekend, giving the area a wintry mix of snow and sleet to start early Sunday morning, before changing over to ice and freezing rain for most of Sunday into the early afternoon. The parade will take place next Sunday, December 15 from 2:00 until 4:00pm. The parade route will remain the same and will still involve temporary road closures.
