Sawmill Fire Investigation Concluded

An investigation into a sawmill fire that started at Central Virginia Pallet and Stake Inc. in Bedford, last month, has been completed. According to the Bedford County Fire Department, the fire was likely caused by “either sparks produced by the cutting of rebar with a saw …or an electrical fault. Media outlets report, the sawmill was the site of a fire in March 2013… The April 23 fire smoldered and burned for more than two weeks. The property was not insured.
