Lynchburg City School officials on Tuesday voted to approve an operating budget, with the understanding it could be amended in July if changes are needed. School board members passed a preliminary version of the budget earlier this year; but a state budget has not been signed by the Governor. The School Superintendent said he could bring the budget back if they got word of any major changes for the city.
