Search warrants have been released by the Lynchburg Police Department on the officer related death of a Liberty University student. According to media outlets, bullets, a “shot shell” and a cartridge case were found in the dorm room of Joshua Hathaway. The LU freshman was fatally shot by a university security officer Tuesday morning. The 19 year old would not be permitted to carry a firearm on school grounds because he was under the age of 21. According to Authorities Hathaway was shot after attacking a security officer with a hammer in the lobby of an off campus dorm.
