Several hundred customers in multiple localities were without power for a time this morning…including about 400 residents in eastern Appomattox County. Sources say a blown fuse at a power delivery point in the Pamplin area was to blame. According to Central Virginia Electric Cooperative, 373 of its members lost power there, while Dominion Virginia Power reported 42 of its customers in Appomattox County were affected. Another 586 residents in Prince Edward County and 104 in Buckingham County also lost power…electric was restored to all by 8am.
