From the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office: Sheriff’s School Resource Officers are investigating a threatening message found on a restroom wall at Jefferson Forest High School today around 1:50 p.m. The SROs, from Jefferson Forest and Forest Middle School, worked with school officials to ensure the safety of the students and staff at the school. Bedford County Sheriff’s field services deputies along with Virginia Game Commission Conservation Police Offices were at the school during dismissal assisting the SROs. The investigation into the threat will continue.
