From Amherst County Sheriff’s Office: On 10/25/2016 at approximately 2:55 a.m. deputies from the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office responded to a parking lot at the intersection of Maple Dr. and Old Wright Shop Rd. in regards to a shooting. Upon their arrival deputies located Troy Tyrone Roberson, 41, of Spout Springs with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
