State Of The City Address Will Be Held on February 24

Lynchburg City’s Mayor and Vice Mayor will deliver the 2014 Annual State of the City Address later this month. The 2014 recipients of the Mayor’s Award of Excellence and the Vice Mayor’s Award of Excellence will be presented, with five citizens and one organization being recognized for outstanding community service work. The event is planned for Monday, February 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at City Hall. A reception in The Galleria will follow; both events are open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, the Address will be held on March 3.
