State Police discovered a body Monday night during their search for a North Carolina man whose car was found abandoned in Pittsylvania County. Investigators say shortly after 6 Monday night State Police said search teams discovered a body in the Pigg River in Pittsylvania County. State Police are not saying if they believe the body is that of 44-year-old Jason Fuller, but the search was suspended. Fuller has been missing from Carrboro, North Carolina since Thursday. The remains were transported to the Medical Examiner for an autopsy and identification. Based on items found in the car, police say they don’t expect foul play in Fuller’s disappearance. An investigation is ongoing.
