Appomattox County High School has received 46 logo design submissions. Copyright issues prompted the logo change. The school division was told not to use its current logo by the Collegiate Licensing Company in summer 2013; after The University of Arizona found that the High School’s logo was too similar to its own. The division expects to transition out the old logo over the next couple years. The deadline to submit ideas was Friday; the school logo committee will pick 10 favorites and then ask students to vote over the next week.
