The Appomattox county Board of supervisors yesterday approved a memorandum of understanding between the county and the school board, which authorizes the county administrator to use a school facility as an emergency shelter if needed. In August, the Supervisors approved the purchase of a generator and 500 gallon diesel fuel tank for Appomattox Primary School.
