The Appomattox Board of Supervisors yesterday approved entering into an agreement with Region 2000 local Government Council, thereby initiating a directional signage project as part of the County’s upcoming 2015 sesquicentennial celebration. Under the agreement, according to the News & Advance, the council would serve as consultants on the project, which would be guided by Virginia Department of Transportation requirements and the recommendations outlined in the “Greater Lynchburg Wayfinding Signage Study.”
