Suspected copper thief turns himself in

A man suspected of stealing copper downspouts from a Lynchburg church is now in police custody.  Police say 37-year-old Damien Marquis Solomon of Amherst turned himself in today.   More than 21-copper downspouts were stolen from the exterior of Fairview Christian Church on Campbell Avenue.    Soloman faces multiple charges of larceny and obtaining money by false pretense.
