Central Virginia Community College is looking to partner with more area school divisions to offer Career Tech Classes to more students. Currently there are18 Campbell County high school seniors taking technical courses at CVCC as part of a new program offered for free by the school division. The dual-enrollment career and technology classes for Campbell County students were announced last summer; the program started in the fall and many students signed up again for the spring semester. Courses offered include welding, machining, Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning and Emergency Medical Technician training–a full-day dual enrollment nursing program will be an option for next year.
