Mustaches for Kids Lynchburg announced this weekend that it raised $510,000 for local children’s charities, far exceeding its goal of $400,000. More than 180 local men spent the month of November growing mustaches to help raise money for this great cause. The money goes to 25 local agencies that benefit children, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, CASA, Boys and Girls Club, and the Miller Home for Girls, Iron Lives, and the Jubilee Center. WLNI’s four growers raised more than $30,000 to help the effort. Thank you to listeners and everyone who donated!
