Lynchburg last week released a proposal to solicit non-profit organization to take over the operations, staffing, and programs at the College Hill Community Center. The facility has been in operation for more than 25 years on Jackson Street in Lynchburg. Officials say the plan must continue to promote health and education, while aligning with the city’s sustainable neighborhood initiatives. Proposals can be submitted to the Parks and Recreations Department through April 10th.
