The Campbell County Board of Supervisors has tabled a decision on a special use permit that would allow Timberlake Christian Schools to expand. Following a public hearing on Tuesday that highlighted changes to the original plan, supervisors ultimately decided to delay the requested so they could learn more about the plan. According to the News & Advance, the vote allows school officials time to meet with the community in an effort to resolve remaining concerns such as increased traffic and noise. A report is expected to be issued to staff by June 15; and will be returned to the board at the July meeting.
