The Campbell County Board of Supervisors has approved a special use permit for Region 2000 to build a telecommunications tower on Candlers Mountain Road. The 89 feet tall tower will be located on 21 acres of agriculturally zoned land in the Spring Hill District. It would be used in the regional emergency communications system, which is in the works. Several conditions were recommended by the county’s planning commission and reinforced by the supervisors.
